ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album can only be described as one thing and that's "Good Music". The rock inspired track "Intro" sets the album off with its high energy guitar riffs and smooth flow. This album has fun tracks like "I'm PayBoy" which introduces the world to PayBoy, and "Biggest Star", which will have you stepping out in your best clothes, rides, and style with confidence.  Club tracks like the pop song "Table Dance" and the more edgier track "Let Me Smack" will have dance floors packed for days.  Need something to just sit back and ride to?  Well this album has that as well. Tracks like "My Hood", "All The Things", ”We Gon Git This Money" and "Wont Let Go" will soothe souls with their laid back smooth grooves.  PayBoy opens up personally with the heart felt inspirational song  "Box Full Of CDs" where he recites "I got a box full of CDs, some posters and a dream, an overdrawn bank account, my tank on E, and all my life going broke for this, I just hope one day God answers my wish",  Something that any entrepreneur can easily relate to.  He gets even deeper with the song "Soul Cry" where he speaks on a close friend that overdosed on drugs at a very young age, and his close cousin that turned to the street life. With the title track "Pay Me" PayBoy takes you on a journey collecting what he feels is owed to him. The catch is when he speaks about money, he means respect, attention, homage, and so on like explained in the intro and on the background of the cover art. Songs like "Part Time Luv" will have women coming back again and again for that feel good, uplifting PayBoy music.

Grammy award winner Ghost, who produced and wrote the hit song "Dilemma" for Nelly and Kelly Rowland, co-wrote the song "Won't Let Go". Jody Stevens from the country duo "Fast Ryde” added some country twang by playing live guitar on some tracks. There is even a live harp, which is so refreshing to hear in hip hop. So whether your looking for up tempo, mid tempo, Ballads, hip hop, pop, country, soul, R&B, or even a little rock, "Pay Me" is your one stop shop.
