To God be the glory without Him none of this would be possible. My name is Paula Barney and I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and started singing at the age of twelve, however in the beginning I wasn't singing for the Lord. In 1974 I moved to Washington, DC to be married. From that marriage we were blessed with two children a daughter Tiffany who sings on the CD and a son Jason Allen who is the producer, musician and who arranged all of the music on this CD. My husband leads a song and daughter & daughter in-law sings in the background, my son sings and plays keyboard, drums and bass. Music was always important to our family.

I accepted Christ in my life as a child but was not walking in obedience. After moving back to St. Louis in 1980 I joined Mt.Herald MB Church where the late Rev.Eugene Barney was the pastor and I joined the Inspirational Choir. As my relationship grew with the Lord He blessed me with the ability to write songs. Not only was I writing songs, but also I was invited to sing at various churches, weddings, funerals, workshops, conferences and other functions.

I am currently a member of New Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of my husband and Pastor Robert L. Barney, Sr., together we've had a radio ministry (Love Ministry) we teach, pray and provide outreach services.
I accepted my calling March of 2004 and brought a message April 10, 2005 which I received my license to preach the gospel. I am a strong believer that Prayer changes situations and moves mountains. The Lord has gifted me with prophecy and to intercede.

In the fullness of time God blessed me to release my first CD on October 25, 2003 Paula Barney and Anointed Praise. I know that God ordained this CD for such a time as this. The name of the CD is Divine Connection and one of the songs is Woman of Sustainable Power, which was written when I organized my first women's conference. Woman of Sustainable Power was selected as an award winning Poetry composition in Eternal Portraits Series and will is published December of 2004 in Tracing the Infinite.

I give God all of the Praise, He is so worthy. For the ones which purchase this CD will truly be blessed. The Lord has placed a special anointing upon this CD, the ones that hears this CD will be set free, healed spiritually, financially and physically.

I love the Lord and I am confident that their is a special anointing upon this cd, and I know you will be blessed and I just praise the Lord for allowing me to be a small instrumental vessel of His glory.
