In addition to his signature piano and organ style, Paul Bell also plays all the Guitars on the CD, as well as bass guitar, synthesizers, drum programming, and even a bit of Banjo. “Hourglass” is the first CD to include original material written by Bell since 2001’s “Down This Road” from The Last Exit Band.
On an interesting side note, there is a hidden track. An inspired performance of Pink Floyds’ first ever recorded track for an album. “Arnold Layne”; appears at track 13. Twenty seconds after the last listed track fades into the background.
