"Christmas music for people who don't like Christmas music." Dale Johnson, www.i-see-sound.com
"Snow Emergency" is the new holiday EP from Cincinnati based, pale beneath the blue. The disc is full of quirky humor, warmth and features both originals and some unconventional seasonal covers for those that are tired of being bombarded by the "same ol', same ol'" Christmas tunes. The band offers their take on such tunes as the Ass Ponys quietly beautiful "Last Night It Snowed", The Pretenders' "2000 Miles" and Rogers & Hammerstein's "My Favorite Things".
Pale beneath the blue's original tunes include the bittersweet "Christmas Break", "The Snow Is Falling"--a Cincinnati-centric "post modern Christmas carol" and "Opus", an ode to a stuffed version Berke
Breathed's comic penguin.
"Christmas is my favorite time of the year," says Rhonda Everitt, the driving force behind pale beneath the blue. "I recorded 'Snow Emergency' to give people, and myself, something new to listen to, enjoy and make new memories to this holiday season."

This is the happiest Snow Emergency you'll ever experience! Rhonda Everitt brings solid vocal performances to this nice selection of original songs and covers. The first listening will pull you in and make you want to watch the snow fall, hot chocolate by your side.
