Album Notes

Singer, Songwriter and Musician; Phillip Clarkson was born and raised on a farm near Bradfordsville, Kentucky. He’s played on stages in Kentucky, West Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. He’s even played overseas while serving in the United States Marine Corps.
It's been nearly 15 years since Phillip took a trip to record in Nashville, Tennessee but it’s been well worth the wait. On this CD, “Back From Nashville”, Phillip includes old and new songs put together with the help of his friends and co-writers: Hal Johnson, Barbara Jean Smith, Vicki Holmes and Gaylon Embrey.
Give this CD a listen and you’ll see why Phillip continues to be part of the music scene. And, if you get the chance, come out and see Phillip at his weekly shows at the Old Talbott Tavern in Bardstown, Kentucky.
