In order for any natural relationship to be healthy and intimate, both parties involved must be willing to exchange the currency of time. The same principle applies to our spiritual relationship with God. Devotion and quiet time with God is the price we all have to pay for intimacy with Him. The Bible teaches us that music has always been a powerful tool and expression of faith. In the Bible, David used his musical gifting as a harpist to provide relief to King Saul from the evil spirit vexing his soul. Moreover, the longest book in the bible is Psalms, which is by definition a book of songs or hymns—many of which are actually devotional texts and reverent petitions to God. It is my prayer that this ACTS CD will give you another tool you can add to your spiritual arsenal and help make your time with God more real, refreshing and productive.
