新しいけれどどこか懐かしい響き......
人の温もりをたたえるサウンドと歌......
そんな音楽の世界へ......
"Peaceful Wing"（ピースフル ウィング）。
このグループ名の発案はメンバーの kazu（宮下和子）によるものですが、その名親は関西の多くのファンの皆様です。まさにこの ＣＤアルバム「木かげの風」の旅立ちに、関西の素敵な仲間達がこの名前に乗せてエールを送ってくれたような思いがします。
"Wing" という単語には、"翼"という意味と共に "Home" という意味も含まれるそうです。私たちの目指す、「温もりあるサウンド」とまさに一致するものです。また"翼"には雛鳥（ひなどり）を守る優しさと、風を切って空を飛び回る強さがあります。私たちの音楽も翼のようにしなやかで強く、そして愛に溢れたものでありたいと思います。
さて、名付けられたタイトルの「木かげの風」ですが、疲れた旅人を陽射しから守り安らぎを与えたり、広げた枝の下で子供たちの戯れを見守ったり、恋人達がまどろむ時を包み込んだり、小鳥や小さな生きものまで優しく撫でてゆく…。
そんな木かげを吹き抜けるあの爽やかな風のように、やり切れない時代を生きている、でも決して夢を捨てない「都会の旅人」ともいえるあなたに、私たちの音に乗せて心の喜びや優しさ…そして温もりと元気を感じて過ごしていただきたい思いから生まれました。
ヴァイオリニストの kazu と、この素晴らしい仲間達を得てまるで新人に戻った気分の yossie 。このアルバム制作に向けて、２つの心が１つとなりました。
