PEACE JONES : THE PATH NARROWS
Released: April 2004 on Ghostbaby Records.
PEACE JONES are a hot group from the high mountains of Asheville, NC. They are known for their imaginative mix of country, funk, blues, folk/ballad, reggae and of course -- rock. Their first release, THE PATH NARROWS, is a specially priced limited edition 6 song collection of the band's tunes. Click on "ONE GOOD THING" for an example of the pleasant alt-country style, "SLICE AND DICE,MARTHA" for their flute-driven funky sound. "BABY THAT'S WHERE IT'S AT" is a bar favorite, and "TWO SECRETS" is an example of their mellow side.
PEACE JONES are driven by mad flautist, drummer, guitarist/singer Paul DeCirce, who is known by many in Asheville, NC, as well as CDBABY, and by his recent exposure in the April '03 issue of MODERN DRUMMER. (see website for full BIO)

While the flute is featured, it is really the acoustic guitar that provides the base of these tunes. PEACE JONES have decided to sell this CD via CDBABY for only 10.00 US . PEACE JONES are interested in consideration and an ear by the well-informed music listening world, and accept all feedback. So...
