Album Notes

The Peacemakers are a blues, classic rock and country flavoured band with a positive, gospel based message. They hail from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, and have been performing since the summer of 2002. Inspired by the likes of the Black Crowes, CCR, Darrell Mansfield and the Allman Bros.
Band members include Dan Dietterle on drums and back up vocals, John Park on bass and back up vocals, Gary Brenner on keys, Dan Thiessen on guitar and James Hiebert on vocals and acoustic guitar.
In the fall of 2005 they released their first full length debut cd entitled "Ready to go", with more to come.

An outstanding Christian band

Tight, clean blues rock country fusion with solid musicianship and an impressive power singer.  Their messages are honest, inventive and to-the-point.  The songs range from  no-holds-barred raw edge (e.g. Judy) to feel-good praise (e.g. Mad About You).  This band is a breath of fresh air. What's not to like about these guys?

Saw this band at Back2Blues Festival in 2007, where they were the best band there.  This album is a great addition to anyone who likes good blues/rock fusion music, and is reflective of a live concert.
