After 20+ years, Peaches and Herb are back on the Imagen Records label with a brand new CD entitled “Colors of Love”. This CD is a collection of 11 songs containing the best of today’s contemporary music, while continuing to stay true to their old-school roots. Making up the female half of this powerful new duo, Herb Fame enlisted the talents of an incredibly gifted vocalist to take on the reigns of “Peaches”: Meritxell (Mŏ-dĭ-chel) Negre. Her voice brings a fresh quality to the duo that most certainly represents Peaches and Herb at its best. With new songs like “Spend the Night”, “Dance Floor” and “Higher”, fans will get back on the floor in much the same way as “Shake Your Groove Thing” did back in the day; they’ll rock on to “What You Gonna Do?”; and they’ll cuddle up to the ballad “Tell Me That You Love Me” much like they did to “Reunited” and “I Pledge My Love”. With “Colors of Love”, Peaches and Herb explore the many faceted aspects of love in this sexy, well conceived CD.
