Album Notes

Unsigned recording artist, Peanut, is one of Alabama's greatest success stories. In the span of ten short years, she has gone from virtual obscurity to become one of the most popular entertainers in the south. She is featured as a rock solid drummer and lead vocalist in her band, Organized Chaos. Currently touring clubs and festivals in support of her CD debut, "Purple and Green Walls," which was written, performed, recorded, and produced by the multi-instrumentalist in her home digital recording studio.

A tribute to her influences, Peanut's CD mixes the sounds of 1970's funk, and rock & roll. She also performs as an acoustic guitarist/vocalist at more intimate venues. Peanut says, "I noticed a split in the audience between people who wanted to hear my voice and lyrics, and those who wants to see me sweat and bang away on my drums."

She has shared the stages with her heroes James Brown, and the late Eddie Kendrick of The Temptations. She has also shared the stage with Columbia Records artist Arrested Development, whose manager, Bart Phillips, said to her, "I want to keep in touch with you and your career."

Peanut can take command of the stage from behind the drum kit, or as a front person. Her sultry voice will enthrall you, as you find yourself swaying to her sassy rhythmic beats. While on tour in support of her CD debut, she is quickly moving up from small clubs to larger venues, and festivals.

Peanut's recipe for success is that she has stayed focused and true to her style, and individuality as a musician.
