Jet is from Sydney but is currently based in Asia.
His main instrument is guitar, and his songs often feature slide and lap steel guitar playing. Strong melodies mark this release and harmonies are included on most songs which Jet records using Cubase.
The songs on this CD focus on relationships, upon their breakdown and upon the struggles we all face in attempting to deal with emotions, especially loss.
Includes a 14-page full-colour booklet with lyrics.
The CD was mastered by Steve Smart at Studios 301 in Sydney.

Great sonwriting and performances that cry out to be heard.

This CD contains great songs and Jet's vocals are both unique and beautiful. High quality indeed for a first release. My two personal favourites are Blue October Skies and My Rich Juliet,which are outstanding, though there is not a weak song on the album. If you like songs about love this CD is for you.

Ethereal and beautiful, and at the same time rootsy and earthy; every song on this album is a masterpiece. Each track has a timeless quality, both catchy, thought-provoking and memorable, melodically and lyrically and features some very contemplative, introspective and emotive songwriting with an emphasis on lost love and similar related themes.
Jet has a unique vocal style which is not only captivating but you just feel the authenticity and believe him when he sings his heartfelt poetry.
This album sounds good in both quality, musicianship and overall production, again a credit to Jet Crawford, "The Pearldivers".
