ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Steph "Pearly" Jenkins and Rosie "Snap" Newton have been playing fiddle tunes and singing country songs together for over six years. Since they moved to Ithaca in 2006, they immersed themselves in the old-time music scene, often playing with local favorites Richie Stearns and Mac Benford. On the CD they are joined by Rosie's mom, Abby Newton, a renowned Celtic cellist, and their friend Steve Selin, a local fiddler and luthier in Ithaca. This CD is a celebration of their time in Ithaca and the beginning to a long touring career.
