Listening to The Peasants from the New England area,this is one Rock n Roll New Yorker who is heavily impressed. I find myself getting Psyched to que this record up and test my speakers.With a splash of garage rock and major doses of the underground scene,this band does it a little different,with utmost taste. Frontman Pete Cassani is flawless in his debut album combining heartfelt lyrics with rip-roaring, soul wrenching guitar. This style backed with some quality bass and drums makes this record a fun ride.

a classic album

This is one of those albums where every song is great. Three albums could have been made from the hits on this album. The styles range quite a bit from fun rockabilly, to punk, to heart-renching love ballads, to songs of soul-searching. This album ranks in my mind as one of the greats, even though it's done by a local artist who hasn't hit it big.
