Schoolteacher by day, storyteller all the time, Peggy Jones comes from a family who devoutly practiced storytelling, but called it “conversation.”
“Billie Tales” is a three-generation collaboration. The stories are based on writings of her father, long-time newspaper reporter and cartoonist. Her son, Mark Reynolds, arranged and performed the musical interludes.
Set in the South where folks appreciate each other, good food, and family, this collection is for listeners of all ages.
Peggy has three grown children and a grandson who isn’t yet old enough to listen to stories, so she’s saving a long list for him. The kid’s in for a treat!
