Peggy Lee Brown's repertoire spans the musical styles of Broadway, opera, jazz, R&B, and spiritual. Referring to her rendition of Summertime at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, New York Concert Review wrote, "Even before the song's final notes, the audience began to applaud vigorously once more and rose to give the artists another ovation." Peggy Brown made her solo debut at the renowned Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in May 2000 with great success. "The highlight of these works was Rossini's 'Una voce poco fà' from 'The Barber of Seville.' Ms. Brown navigated this challenging terrain admirably, executing impressive leaps, often to the upper end of her range. These high notes, which one could easily mar with inaccurate pitch or harsh timbral qualities, bloomed beautifully from Ms. Brown's mouth.
