Peggy Leyva Conley was born and raised in Hollister, California on the Pacific Central Coastal region, and now makes her home in Hendersonville, Tennessee on Old Hickory Lake area a suburb of Nashville.
The Musician Peggy Leyva Conley's mother is Jeanette Reed-Leyva who was born in the Cumberland Mountains of Spring City, Tennessee. The Musicians Grandfather Herman Hugh Reed sp. Sylvia Fugate was born in Tazewell, Tennessee in the Appalachian Mountains above Knoxville influencing the musician. The Roots have been found throughout Eastern Tennessee, Colonial Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia and Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Long Island, New York, traced to European Ancestry of England, France, Ireland, Scotland, Norway, Holland, and Germany near the Austria border also influencing the Musician as a renown Classical Musician-Instrumentalist.
The Musician was raised in a Parish giving her the Musical influence on Piano and Vocals from performing in the Congregation. As a Musician she then branched off into Blues at a early age while working in the Music Industry as a Associate Editor-Columnist for the former Delta Snake Blues Magazine in Silicon Valley-Bay area in California. The Artist has also been connected to Legendary John Lee Hooker who influenced, encouraged, inspired the Musician to continue on in the field of Music, and Writing as a Artist.
