Unearthed from it's roots in Duluth, MN, the latest incarnation of the Pete Ekstam Project has just released Two Fingers in the Air. Where the original Project was simply a collaboration
between Pete and percussionist Nate Heydt, it has steadily grown and developed into something far beyond expectations.

Two Fingers in the Air stretches across the musical spectrum with appearances by familiar Project members Erik Berry (bass, charango), Nate Heydt (percussion), Andrew Sparrow (flute), and the added elegance and creativity of special guests Ian Alexy (guitar), Tonya Van Camp (violin, viola), Shaunna Heckman (vocals), and Cleo Bloom (spoken word). Recorded at the legendary Sacred Heart Studios with engineer Eric Swanson (Crash Test Dummies, Low), Two Fingers in the Air is at once vibrant and eclectic, the refreshing authenticity of Pete's writing shines through on every track.

Remaining true to the spirit of the Project as an ever-changing entity, Pete is now beginning the next step of his journey by transplanting himself to the fertile musical soil of Phoenix, AZ. Be sure to keep your ears peeled for the next interpretation of his work.
