Album Notes

By popular demand Pelikanesis volume 2, long out of print has finally being reissued. Mostly studio recordings from the late '80's and early '90's, Paull E. Rubin, Dave Criden and crew were in the midst of slugging it out on the L.A. club scene and receiving radio airplay, most "note"ably on KLOS FM (Heart Like A Stone, Just Say Yes and Hole In The Ice) when these recordings were first issued. In addition, 4 songs from a live radio broadcast in Ventura, CA from 1999 (KOCP FM) have been added as bonus tracks. Live performances of these and many other songs from Paull and Pelikanesis can be seen on the pelikanesis09 channel on youtube. This is a
7 South Recordshop release, remastered by Steve Powell.

Absolutely brilliant, fantastic, terrific, superb, great, fabulous, tremendous.  It has been playing since 9am Saturday morning.  It's excellent Paull - you are so talented and gifted.  Well done.  I recognise most of them from your videos.  At last I've got 'Heart Like A Stone' on CD !!  Love 'Chase You' and 'Don't Cut Me Down'.
