Album Notes

George Moser - Organ

A graduate of Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ, George Moser has served as Director of Music at St. John's Lutheran Church in Summit, NJ since 1996. Prior to his arrival in Summit he served churches in Ohio, Michigan and Florida. At St. John's he directs a program of singing and handbell ringing choirs. Mr. Moser is also an Associate in Ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

John Pendenza - Trumpet

A New Jersey native, John is a graduate of Glassboro (NJ) State College. He has toured with many jazz and swing bands, including those of Lionel Hampton, Buddy Rich, Jimmy Dorsey, and Xavier Cugat. He has performed in several Broadway shows, and played lead trumpet for many top entertainers. John has been principal trumpet of the New Jersey Pops Orchestra since 1992. He leads his own Boulevard Brass Quartet, Boulevard Brass Quintet and the Boulevard Big Band.


John Leister - Percussion

John Leister is a freelance percussionist with several New Jersey orchestras and the Orchestra of St. Luke's in New York City. A veteran of musical theater orchestras, John has performed for several Broadway shows both in the United States and in Europe. A graduate of Juilliard and the University of Illinois, John is the Music and Art Department Chair for the Madison, NJ school district.
