Album Notes

penney file is a songwriter/pianist/vocalist living in southern maryland. his two currently released cds, "keep the change" and "living incognito" reflect his thoughts on life, love, loss, lifeguards and lactose intolerance. The songs have a strong lyrical base, and the efforts of some excellent sidemen, along with penney's keyboards, give those lyrical wanderings a pleasant environment in which to be enjoyed. penney's eventual goal is for this music to open a door for his kool kangaroo venture (see his website at www.koolkangaroo.com) to allow him to use music as a way to reach and teach children to constructively handle their emotions.
