Album Notes

In his second CD release (2007), Jonathan took a more intimate route. Using only a Macbook and one mic, he started recording all kinds of ideas on his own to learn how to mix and produce. As the muse flowed and life experiences gave him raw material to work with, "A Transient Warehouse of Damaged Goods" was born.

While playing most of the parts himself, he composed aggressive, and yet, restrained songs. His lyrics have a tendency to linger in the mind and slowly drip down into the consciousness throughout the day. His melodies also linger, with memorable hooks and phrases that capture both the melancholy and joy of humanity.

His eye for irony and his sensitivity to the world around him gives him a unique perspective that shows through brilliantly on this album.

Jeff Kirk helped out with live percussion on Follow Me, and Julie Castor gave her violin prowess to Mystery Maiden.
