Album Notes

Do you feel the urge to puke whenever you turn on modern rock radio? Are you sick of whiny emo-tards & made-for-MTV sellouts? Had it with watered-down “punk” and wondering just what it is that these “nü-metal” tough guys are trying to repress within themselves (not that there's anything wrong with that)? Ready to give up on hard rock entirely and join the convent?

Well, forget all that shit. It's now irrelevant. Because Penny Royalty is doing something about it, clearing away the bullshit and getting back to the roots of all that is good about gritty, authentic rockandFUCKINGROLL! It's called prescription strength thunder punk, kids, and it's coming to knock up your little sister and run away with your soccer mom.

Penny Royalty brings it. Hard, fast, LOUD, and heavy! They don't hide behind effects. They don't bore you with bloated ballads that try and trick you into thinking they're such sensitive guys. If your idea of a killer show is a Dave Matthews concert, you WILL run and hide from the first note Penny Royalty strikes. Because this is in-your-face stripped-down nasty rock that explores and probes places you might not like to think about, but shit - everyone knows that that's where the fun is. It ain't for the faint hearted, that's for damn sure. Penny Royalty has perfected a huge sound that will stiffen your Mohawk and mutate your chromosomes! Gritty guitar that sounds like a pissed-off dinosaur that just ate a nuclear reactor. Tart and testy vocals. Bass that has its own area code on the Richter scale. And drums that bring to mind visions of horny jackrabbits hopped up on crystal meth. They combine the power and thrash of the Pixies, the stoner-rock sensibility of Queens of the Stone Age, and the rawness of early-70's Detroit punk and deliver it all with an urgency that leaves their audiences stunned and begging for more!

Penny Royalty is:

Eric Heinzman - bass
Ed Kinser - guitar, vocals
Shannon Murphy - drums
