Album Notes

The People People, part garage band, part dance-DJ, are back with two new pop singles - on the one CD. Fans of the debut album are in for a surprise. \"The Sound of Now for Tomorrow\" was a mellow, largely-acoustic album about lost love. But this new release bathes the bands sound in pristine, high-energy production. The mix sparkles - but just enough of the quirks have been left in, so nothing robs the music of this band\'s unique sparkle.

Since the debut album, there\'ve been some changes to this all-boy four piece. Vocalist Rachelle is on board, adding some yin to their yang. A new optimism has filtered right through into the music.

\"We are People People\" is fan favourite and traditional set closer, an upbeat chant about searching for inspiration and trying to be different. Guitar rocker \"I want a girl, I want a boy\", charts two lost souls in a big city, just missing (or maybe finding) each other. \"Where I\'m Goin\'\" is a groovey, soulful, seaside chillout. On \"You\'re a f*cking star\", you can imagine that confrontation with that famous person you most love to hate - and getting to take them down a peg or two.
