Album Notes

At 16, Angie Pepa has written more than eight original songs. A Filipina-American and resident of Gaithersburg, MD, she started pursuing her musical endeavors late-January last year

Born and raised in Guam for 5 years, spent the next 5 years in the Philippines, then came to the U.S., this talented girl currently attends school in Rockville MD.

Most of the inspiration to write comes from her and her friend's life, and some come from her influences such as Christina Aguilera, Melissa Ethridge, and Suzanne Vega. For more than 2 years now, she has taught herself to play the guitar and from time to time she gets tips from her father to improve her skills.

Having the talent to sing, write and play the guitar eventually led her to record her songs. She has been performing at various open-mic venues in Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. and has been active as well in performing with other bands in the area. In November 2004 she was given the opportunity to perform as a front-act for the Philippine's premiere band, Side A, at a concert at GWU's Lisner auditorium. Her debut album entitled "all of the above" is scheduled for release on July 9, 2005.
