Beautiful Frustration is about the hard times that get you where you're going. Looking back over the years leading up to the album there have been moments of incredible, nearly unbearable frustration. Moments when I wanted to give up have inspired the songs "Yesterday" and "Something Inside Me". But the frustration is beautiful because it makes a person stronger, better, wiser and makes the reward that much sweeter.
It's not all frustrating either. Some of it's just beautiful. The love of my life inspired the songs, "Take My Hand" and "Yellow Dress Girl".
If you're a dreamer or a dream chaser then this album is for you. Maybe you'll get from it that dreams are the inspiration that keeps you going. Dreams are the creative stimulus for everything you are. Dreams can't be left behind and forgotten; not really. Dreams will take you down a long, surprising road and you will have moments of beauty and moments of frustration and hopefully it will all meld together and simply be "Beautiful Frustration".
