Yvonne Perea has been singing, songwriting and playing guitar for more than 23 years. She has written and performed with artists such as Susan Gibson, the writer of the Dixie Chicks' award-winning song, "Wide Open Spaces," and she has held the top 3 positions in her genre on the Riffage.com charts--at once. Yvonne has also been a performing member of the female independent artist network, Indiegrrl for over a year. She has opened for major name artists, including Meshell Ndegeocello, Jonatha Brooke, Sophie B. Hawkins, Nickle Creek and others.
