Indie rocker Sarah Perrotta and her band are from New York's Hudson Valley. Perrotta's 2008 release "The Well" includes eleven songs written and produced by Perrotta and performed by Perrotta and her band: guitarist Chris Lane` and drummer Johnny Watson. Special guests include the legendary Tony Levin (of Peter Gabriel and King Crimson) for all eleven songs on bass and Garth Hudson (of The Band and Bob Dylan) on accordion for two songs. "The Well" was recorded at Leopard Studio in Stone Ridge, New York and mixed by grammy award winning producer Malcolm Burn.
While compared to artists such as Jeff Buckley, Kate Bush and Tori Amos, it is clear that Perrotta has managed to develop her own personal style which combines rock, pop and jazz elements with a slight touch of the avant-garde.
