Album Notes

Music is supposed to be about something. This music is about reality and imagination, the yin and yang of our existence. Orange Alert focuses on the new American troubles and the changes in society over the last four years. The reality of our world is that we have entered a new time of struggle, confusion, and disagreement. But, imagination waits as an open window to clarify reality, filter out the ruse, and invent constructive solutions. Music explains questions and describes universal answers where words fail in their confines. If you read between the lines you will find music.
Using the language of the infinite, music is a storyteller reading to us as children, telling tales about far away places and things we've never seen. We believe these stories because all of us have dreams of the possible. Everyone still has dreams of what could be someday, somehow, someway. Not all of us grew up to be firefighters, but we all still remember what we wanted to be. In the same way that we remember our dreams, we keep music with us as a reminder of who we were, why we're here, and where we haven't gotten to, yet. Orange Alert is a timeline from where we were four years ago, traveling through the present and ending at the cliff of the future. Where do we go from here? We knew when we were children.

I liked the song Baghdad Christmas the best. Other songs that are good: 8:00 Hustle, Millennium Sunrise, and the Red Phone. This CD was really fun to listen to for driving a long road trip. I listened to it on the way back also. Chris, CA

Is this music the shadow of todays' thinking young people? I think so. Solid musical performance, with some new twists. Good mix of blues and jazz, and city type music. Serious and provoking with some haunting melodies underscored with serious reflections
