Album Notes

This is my second CD, the first being "Songs From the Hammock" released in DEC. 2000. I record everything in my home studio, I think you'll be amazed at the quality.. My friend George Terry helps me produce and he plays on it. You might remember him better as Eric Clapton's guitar player and co-writer of "Lay Down Sally."

This music reflects the life I am privelidged to live in the little town of Sebastian Florida, where the fish are jumpin' and the people are nice..It reflects my love of the water, nature, and boats.. So kick your shoes off(if you own any) pop an ice cold beer, climb into your hammock and turn the stereo up.....Hope you Enjoy................Pete

I am from Vero and Sebastian. I live in Knoxville, TN now. I love your music and it brings me back home..... Your music makes me homesick.......I want to put sand down on my carpet and start dancing (of course with a margarita in my hand)....... Thanks Pete, for all the beautiful music....... Keep going. Looking forward to the next CD........Pat

I live in London, England, with a vacation home in Stuart, FL. An English friend saw Convertible Days in a Barnes & Noble and bought it as a present because I'd just bought a used Mustang I couldn't afford. I loved it; everyone who hears it loves it. Whenever I play it on a nasty rainy day in London town I see palm trees and feel a tropical breeze.

I'm enjoying every song on this CD. I heard Convertible Days on Margaritaville Radio and I had to get the CD. I'm so glad I did! Pete paints such a beautiful tropical picture with these songs. Listening to this CD makes me want to keep driving south ‘til I get to the Florida Keys. Life is a beach with Pete Harris. I certainly wouldn’t have it any other way.

Makes a person feel so good.

Since I live in the north country, but have visited Florida, Pete's music just takes be back to a beautiful place. I can see the palm trees and feel the ocean breeze. The guy has talent and George Terry's guitar along with the slide and steel drums makes for a great CD. Just wish more people up north could be exposed to the teriffic sound of this CD. I like the variety from county flavored tunes to the instrumental piece. I was lucky enough to have a friend from Florida send me the CD and now have loaned it to another friend so they can experience these great tunes. I think that if people could hear it on the radio (all over the country) they would agree. It has potential to make it big.
