Bio
Hi, my name is Pete, and I just wanted to use this page to let you know a little about me and why I perform music. It all started when I was 13 years old and my older brother came home with a horrifyingly ugly hot pink electric guitar. The brand name was Lotus, and the guitar store sold it to my brother for like $75 even though it was brand new, mainly because it just wouldn't sell otherwise. Anyways, he gave me that guitar because he didn't like it much either, and I've been playing ever since (on a nicer guitar now).
My songs are often birthed out of different situations. Many times I am just trying to find an answer to a confusing life question, whether it be about God, girls, family or friends. Often times putting thoughts and feelings to music allows me to express what I am feeling in a very tangible and concrete way. In a sense, I'm able to step outside of myself and view my situation in a different light. I'm hoping you will be able to glean both truth and depth from my music and lyrics. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Every now and again, there comes a song or album that evokes strong memories and emotions of a period of time. The music tugs at your heart, searching your soul. The vocals, instrumentation, and lyrics hit you deeply, and you're transported back to a time where you were changed. Not That Far is that album, and Though A Thousand Stumble is that song. Buy it.

Sweet Blazes!

Pedro Martinez Gutierez Gonzalez de Kruse is really a talented musician. I have listened to this CD probably 30 times in my car and it never gets old! It seriously saved me from some seriously depressed days. His lyrics moved me to the point that I was able to soar on wings like eagles and move past my problems. It was like a little slice of Nirvana, with out the heavy drummigry. This CD is not to be missed!

Not that Far = Not that Bad

Really enjoyed the cd. I thought it was very well done. I like Pete's musical style and would compare it to the Folk style of people like Rich Mullins, Mitch McVicker, Eric Hauck, Andrew Peterson, etc.
Like another reviewer, I really enjoyed #4 and #8 as well. I've been going through some stuff at this point in my life where the lyrics in #8 seemed to really speak to my situation, and it was encouraging to hear, so thanks!
Good job Pete, you done good!
