Peter Apel’s award-winning music CD “I’ve Got a Dinosaur on My Head!” was released after constant urging from friends and family who loved his music and thought it should be heard beyond his living room. Apel's songs are said to have a magic simplicity, offering keen but subtle observations of people and life.

In addition to the title track, Apel’s entertaining new CD includes a variety of new, singable songs such as "Sometimes I Have Oatmeal for Breakfast" and "Peacocks Don't Lay Eggs." Teachers will appreciate the movement songs, "Walking in a Circle" and "Big Locomotive." The full-color insert folds out to include lyrics for all the songs and includes illustrations of fun, original characters. The music, performance, and artwork are all done by Peter Apel.
