Peter Combe, Australia's finest children's songwriter has released his long awaited contemporary album for adults "SONGS FROM A TELEPHONE BOX". 16 tracks,including a powerful anthem of reconciliation, a vaudevillian tribute to Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers, a 'Cat Stevens' song to the earth, a Monty Pythonish ode to a fish feeling 'poorly', a song to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a beautiful tribute to the memory of Peter's father, a tongue-in-cheek piece about someone who's 'discovered' Email and many more. This is a wonderfully diverse and memorable CD and comes complete with a beautiful 12 page booklet containing all the lyrics, Peter's personal notes about each song and 14 photographs.

Peter's children's career has included a 6 year stint in London presenting BBC TV's Music Time programme, seen throughout England,Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Australia. He has recorded 12 Children's albums, 3 of which have received ARIAS (the US equivalent of a Grammy) for Best Children's Album(same as the Wiggles). 7 of the albums have gone Gold and 2 Platinum. He has also composed a major children's musical for Symphony Orchestra, Choir and 18 Soloists based on the Australian classic children's story - Snugglepot & Cuddlepie.
