Album Notes

This collection of songs is about connection, or attempts at connection - love, loss, desire - the ebb and flow... they are pretty much true one way or another.

A friend of mine did say, "If love doesn't work, try more love." And another said to me, "Couldn't you be man enough to lie?" And yet another said. "Wind is the worst weather."
That's where songs come from - words spoken or overheard, from the music in the wind, and in dreams, and in the rhythm and the blues.

REVIEWS

author: Michael Dyer (singer/songwriter, MichaelDyerMusic.com)
Peter Gallway produces wonderful folk songs that are thoughtful, contemplative and with observations about love and life that are "right on". I particularly like his song: We Were Meant to Be Lost. His voice has a unique quality that goes well with it evocative lyrics about how we are meant to be both lost and found: "... till the walls came down, then the shadows came and pushed the stars around ..." The song has sustained guitar chords and delicate riffs that make it grow more captivating with time. The song: Man Enough To Lie, has a nice blues quality to it, with subtle and sophisticated riffs, and good lyrics: "... travel like the wind. She drinks from the deep dark waters, gets underneath my skin..." I think these songs will get underneath your skin also. Check 'em out!
