Exotic Island - EP is the debut album by swedish guitar player Peter Holmgren. Exotic Island is inspired by Mr Fastfinger's site guitarshredshow.com where he has a cool solo with exotic bends and he is on an island. Another exotic island is Isle of Man, where there are no speed limits. Therefore the EP could also refer to the Isle of Man and that's why the last songs are called Revving up the engine and Donut. Donut refers to drifting and not cookies.

Exotic Island starts of with a smooth melody and continues with heavy riffing and exotic solos. A creative and melodic song.

Revving Up The Engine has a roaring main riff and fast tapping solos.

Donut is the heaviest song in this EP and has fast rhythm parts with bluesy fills, a catchy tapping part and the last solo starts off with some serious fast shredding! This is a great song if you're a fan of heavy metal riffs and solos.
