The quintessential Fall album
author: Jon Charles Fortman - Fifth St. Coffeehouse, Fort Worth TX
It's Fall once again and since discovering Peter Mayer in the Fall of 2003, no Fall has been complete for me without a listen to this wonderful masterpiece. A blessed wonder of artistic genius. Look forward to seeing you again, Pete, at FUMC Fort Worth, TX for Winter Solstice. Thank you eternally Pete, for your gift of musicianship and artistry. Wonderful lyrics, fun music. Loved this CD!
author: Suzanne Hillman
This CD is the first I've owned by this artist. I am very, very impressed. The lyrics are, in my opinion, some of the best I've ever heard, both in their ability to help me experience emotions and environment, and in their ability to get stuck in my head. I also enjoyed the music itself, in that it went well with the lyrics. Wonderful stuff!

...a bit more inciteful...
author: Fred Zwick
This album asserts that Peter Mayer is still a master in eliciting folksy, compelling imagery through lyrical combinations of knowlege, passion, and people. It impresses me as being a bit more inciteful and perhaps less for your "listening pleasure". Somewhat more lyrical and poetic in melody rather than just musical. But to experience Peter Mayer's essence, there's nothing like his live coffeehouse performances.
A good follow up to Elements (live).
