Album Notes

This album was a 'labor of love' as they say.

Tunes were selected from a musical repetoire from the distant to recent past, but also with the ink barely dry. A few songs feature the energy of a drummer I'd played with in Minnesota, Bob Schintz. Grammy nominated engineer, David Ruttenberg, performed the mastering. My son Matt played some nice piano adlib on one track, and daughter Raquel added her angelic ooh's and aah's to another. Russell Parker added his visual energy to the CD packaging that really hit home for me. And Lizz glided through doctorate studies with music thumping through the walls and deserves the most appreciation.

The songs on the CD carry a theme of concern for humanity, of connecting with others on an individual level or in the global mess. The fact is we are millions of individual perspectives and worldviews that must somehow work together.
