Jeanne was what the experts call a child prodigy.
She began playing chords and melody at the age of three.
Her professional career began at age fifteen, playing piano and singing.
In addition to live performances, she was a staff musician and vocalist at WCCO radio and television along with her late husband, musician Willie Peterson.
She has played shows for such notables as Bob Hope, Red Skelton, and has performed with jazz greats Sonny Stitt, Bud Shank, Marion McPartland, and Paul Whiteman.
For her outstanding contributions to music and to the community, Jeanne Arland has been inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame, has had a day declared in her honor by the Governor of Minnesota, and most recently was the recipient of the Arts Midwest Jazz Master Award.
Jeanne has two solo LP's, and one solo CD to her credit.

Linda Peterson began her singing career at the age of two, performing on many radio and television programs.
Throughout her life, she has performed to sold out audiences in the States and Europe.
Linda has two CD's to her credit, including many original compositions which have received extensive airplay internationally.
She has also been honored with an award for "Best Jazz CD of the Year" by the Minnesota Music Academy.

Billy Peterson is one of the premier bass players in the world.
In addition to performing, he is a successful producer and arranger, working with such luminaries as Ben Sidran, Eddie Harris, Leo Kottke, Bob Dylan, and Steve Miller.
His arrangement abilities compare to Claire Fischer and Bill Evans.
Billy has won "Best Bassist" at the Minnesota Music Awards every year since its inception.

Patty Peterson is a seven time Minnesota Music Award winner for "Best Vocalist" and "Best Jazz Group." She began singing as a child for concerts and recording sessions, and has remained a mainstay vocalist for commercials and artists such as Ben Sidran, Sergio Mendez, and Donny Osmond.
Critics have called her "a musical chameleon," and have praised the "emotional delivery of her vocals" on her two solo CD's.

Paul Peterson started playing drums at age two, and quickly added the four other instruments which keep him in demand today.
Prince recognized his talent early on, and invited him to record and perform with his groups "The Time" and "The Family." Besides being a session musician for artists such as Anita Baker to Paula Abdul, "St." Paul has three solo CD's to his credit, two of which hit the Top 40.

Jason Peterson De Laire is the first performer of the "grandchildren" to join the professional ranks.
