Album Notes

Curiously, Robert and I have never met in person.
We live on opposite coasts,
I in North Bend Washington, and Robert in Charleston,
South Carolina. The internet has made
Music Through The Wire" possible.
Robert & I connected on Ourstage.com which has monthly
music competitions. (with Robert having more Top 10 awards
than anyone) and many wonderful indie recording artists
On this site we collaborated with many great musicians.
Among those were:
GREG BERTINELLI from NYC who drew many cyber-musicians
together into a group he called "Copperhead".
JENNY DWYER from Australia who made amazing videos and
sang on many cyber-creations.
JONI LARRAINE SIEKAWITCH, Robert's wife also added
vocals to several Copperhead creations.
JEFF WRIGHT from Boston added more guitar to the mix.
MARK KAUFMAN from Minneapolis sang and played,
MATT NEWMAN from California sang and many more.
After communicating back and forth,I asked Robert
if he would like to try a whole CD project using this method of
recording tracks which he immediately agreed to. I had basic
sketches to 13 songs and we got to work.
Without the luxury of working on the project face to face, we
accomplished the whole thing via e-mail and phone calls.
Twenty years ago I never would have imagined something like this
being possible, but music is the universal language,
even speaking "Through The Wire".
