Album Notes

A compilation of instrumental music made for a variety of projects in New York & San Francisco, composed & played by the artist. Instruments employed range from home-made acoustics to found percussion , some conventional rock & folk instruments, electronics & sampling. The music was either made as soundtracks for live Dance performances or for films. The compositions span roughly 10 years, although most pieces are from the last 3 - 5 years. Artists who commissioned these compositions include Mikhail Baryshnikov, Susan Marshall, Ana Halprin, Elena Konstantinou, Ralph Arlick, Zeum San Francisco and Jennifer Thompson. Many influences are detectable, from psychedelic rock to folk music to electronica, new music & the avante garde.
