Album Notes

Contemporary Christian worship music has been one of the foundations of Petra Christian Fellowship, located in New Holland, PA, since its founding over 25 years ago.

In May, 2008, “God is on Our Side” was recorded at Petra. The CD features 14 full-length songs of modern worship music, some of which are current favorites (I am Free, Happy Day); some are Petra “classics” (Come, Now is the Time to Worship, Days of Elijah, Strong Tower); and others were written by Worship Pastor Gary Buck (God is on Our Side, He is Lord of All, So Lovely). The project was mixed and edited by Matt Goss, Worship Pastor at LCBC in Manheim, PA.

Petra's original songs push the creative envelope a bit, drawing influence from bands such as Coldplay, David Crowder, U2 and Delirious?.
