Album Notes

This is cutting edge jazz recorded live during a Streaming Audio performance at San Diego City College. The performance was broadcast live over KSDS 88.3 FM, and often airs on the Arts Channel in San Diego. Adam Pfeffer joins Scott Kent on guitar, Russill White on sax, Lenny Obregon on trumpet, Sam Johnson on bass, and Derek Ethridge on drums. This is a CD-R with full cover art. The cover art comes from a painting by John Keaton.

Adam Pfeffer is best known for his psychotic piano playing and experimental electronic music. As of 2008 Adam has been playing piano for 24 years, guitar and bass for 6 years, and has recently started playing drums. Adam grew up on Long Island in New York, got an electrical engineering degree from Valparaiso University in Indiana, studied music engineering at Cogswell College in Sunnyvale California, and now lives in San Diego California. Adam has performed and/or recorded with the bands Spitkiss, Streaming Audio, and Googaloo, as well as many others. Adam began playing piano and composing at age 13, but didn't start recording and producing music until he was finished with college at age 22. Between 1996 and 2008 Adam Pfeffer has made over 100 recordings available for download on the internet. There are very few people who can work full time as an engineer while independently releasing several full length albums. Adam Pfeffer is one of these people.
