Will Pfluger is a guitarist and composer who lives on Martha's Vineyard Island, Massachusetts. He attended the Berklee College of Music and graduated from Skidmore College with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Guitarists that have influenced his playing include John Fahey, Ed Gerhard, John Renbourn, Leo Kottke, and El McMeen. His strongest musical inspiration came from Ludwig Van Beethoven.
Mr. Pfluger's deep love of the ocean and sailing have always played a strong role in his music. The piece "Half Moon Bay" was inspired by a bay of the same name in
Antigua, West Indies.
The piece "Horseman's Pastorale" was published in July, 2007 by Chanterelle Publishing of Heidelberg, Germany. It is available in a compilation book of composers from around the world. The book is entitled: "Guitar Intro III, The Repertoire Book" by Alfonso Montes & Irina Kircher.
