Album Notes

Guitarist/composer, Patrick Greene's warm tone and bebop phrasing have earned him a reputation as one of the most exciting jazz guitarists on the scene today. His Trio has been featured at the North Beach Jazz Festival, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and at renowned Bay Area jazz venues such as: Bruno's, Zebulons, and Eastside-West. Most recently he was a featured performer at the annual Great Hawaiian Jazz Blowout Festival in Honolulu.

"Patrick writes lyrical melodies with interesting chord changes. It's refreshing to hear a young cat playing in the tradition and looking forward." - Sid Jacobs, world renowned guitarist/author/composer

"Here's a guy that inspires you to sit up and listen! Patrick will get heavy rotation on KPOO."
- joe rudolph, manager of kpoo 89.5, san francisco

New PGTrio disc brings Hawaii jazz fans to Paradise!
author: Mike Curtis - Island Jazz Review
Pat Greene brought his CD to Hawaii on a recent trip and made big waves in the local jazz scene. Hawaii jazz fans loved the trio's straight-ahead style and smooth sounds. We can only hope that next time Mr. Greene comes to town he brings the group with him for some live gigs!
