Memorable Melodies - You'll be singing the songs for days
author: John Ruhl
This CD is a refreshing change from the current trend on modern alternative rock. While the music is both modern and alternative it have a sense of melody and a more classic sound that has been completely forgotten by all but a few artists. I bought several copies and gave them to my friends and said "you gotta hear this new band. They are great!" They all love the disc. Hopefully we'll hear a lot more of the Prophets and they'll continue to deliver well written and well produced albums with songs you'll listen to again and again. This disc is one of the best rock releases since the mid-nineties. Rock on.

Great CD all around!
author: Russell Johnson
It's generally very hard to come across an album in which I like all the songs, but this isn't the case with The Pharmacy Prophets. All the songs have great hooks, creative lyrics, and, a blast from the past, guitar solos. The solos aren't in there to show off blistering guitar work but to enhance the songs as a whole and that they do. The lyrics are inspired, not your, oh so common, 'my life stinks, feel sorry for me', staple of many modern artists today. It's refreshing to say the least. Lastly, the production of the CD is fantastic they used all the devices they had at their disposal to make a great sounding album. The whole disc flows from start to finish and it only proves that not only are these guys great muscians but great "song" writers. They have a style of their own and the use of background vocals, and orchestral pieces make their songs full and rich with texture. All and all a great piece of work.

Great music, love the lyrics.

Lyrics are important and I really enjoyed them on this CD. Neither the music or the words overpower the other, but come together to form great songs.
