Gospel Rap Artist “PHAT CAT” is at it again with the release of his 2nd full length album “Behind Tha Mask.” With a burning desire to spread God’s word across the nation, CAT has hit the streets running with messages of love, hope, forgiveness, redemption, and salvation through Jesus Christ. At the age of 25, CAT felt a calling from God to use his talents to make an impact and a difference in the lives of many. Being delivered from drugs and alcohol are only part of the strong testimony that comes to light in this Holy Hip Hop music.

Using hip hop as a ministry tool for the last 4 years, CAT has ministered & performed at all types of events & venues including churches, youth groups, youth camps, schools, festivals, prisons, juvenile detention centers, etc. CAT has worked with organizations such as Prisoners for Christ Ministries, Young Life, and is a youth leader at his local church. He has shared the stage with many artists including 2 dove award nominated group K2S, Smooth, Urban D, Mr. Del, Karusso, ABG of Christsyde Records, Willie Will of Beatmart Records, Sharp Skillz, and many more.

Now with the 2006 release of his second full length album “Behind The Mask” CAT is making his mark in the hip-hop community. It’s a strong sophomore release with a generous 17 hard hitting tracks produced by Smooth Of K2S, CROW of Bruthaz Grimm (Portland), Jace Of Salty Beatz (Los Angeles), Terryl Greg (WA) II Tre of A-State Entertainment (Arkansas), and platinum producer Funk Daddy out of Seattle. It also features guest appearances by artists such as K2S, CROW, Karruso, pop rock sensation TR Griffin and Terryl Greg. PHAT CAT has also recently completed 2 music videos with Downright Digital Productions that are scheduled to be on a DVD release sometime in 2007.

PHAT CAT has decided to turn his negative experiences into positive messages to our youth and the lost of this world. It’s not only entertainment for Christians, but to also plant seeds for the rest of the world. Teaming up with JB Rye Productions there are many more projects in the works.
