Parke Hedges

The Houston area has long been fertile for Texas music. Though he now calls San Antonio home, Parke Hedges remembers just how great that influence was. Growing up in La Porte on Galveston bay southeast of Houston it was easy to head up to Liberty Hall or Anderson Fair to see the singer songwriters hone their skills. It was during this time in the late 1970's that he began playing guitar and writing his own songs. This continued as he moved to Texas A&M and on to San Antonio to pursue a professional career. Life got crowded as it does for most people and playing music became less important. But it wasn't lost and Hedges is coming out with a new collection of songs and CD entitled "Close My Eyes". Recorded at Melody Ranch in San Antonio with his band " The Examiners" the songs range from country ballads to jazzy blues. Currently he is juggling a medical practice with working on material for the next project.


Marc Gagne
Originally from Maine, Marc now calls West Palm Beach, Florida his home. He is our "Let's do it" guy. Perhaps that comes from his military stint during which time he played in several bands in several different countries, entertaining people of all sorts. He is solid, experienced, and diverse in his talent. Despite his schedule of work and music, he finds time to volunteer teaching the handicapped to play bass. Their accomplishments are his rewards.


Ted Veve
Don't get into a Beatles trival contest with Ted -- he's a diehard fan who knows the facts. He's a native of Puerto Rico who tells stories of sneaking out at night as a teenager to play with local bands. Music remains one of his passions...along with sneaking away to the beach with his wife Laurie.


Lucy Funk
Lucy knows hard work: a single mom with 3 children, she worked fulltime and went to night school while working on this project. Even during the most frustrating times, we could count on Lucy to smile and put it all in perspective. Her philosophy is simple: whatever you do, have fun doing it.
