A History in the Making...
Phelt is an energy driven rock band from Reading, Pennsylvania. The idea of Phelt began in October 2003 when Greg and Miron left Oracle to begin work on a new band. They asked Tim to join the band as the drummer, he accepted the invitation and brought along his friend Brian from a previous band, Breathe, to play bass.
In early 2004 Brian left the band, but even the loss of a bassist wouldn't slow down the band. They headed to Akdar Studios and recorded a three track EP. In late 2004, Matt joined the band as the new and final bass player.
Phelt is currently doing shows everywhere promoting their album 'Lately' which was released May 20th 2005 and plans to continue writing for album number two.
Phelt has played with Saliva, headlined House of Blues' Crocodile Rock in Allentown, The Silo in Reading, PA and The Abilene on South St. in Philly. Phelt has also played shows in Brooklyn, NY and at the Hard Rock Café' in Cleveland, Ohio. Tim (the drummer) has been quoted as saying "We'll play wherever there is a crowd and they WILL be entertained. Because that's what we do." Many have "Witnessed the Invasion" and Phelt has succeeded in bringing a new and original brand of music to their ever growing "phan" base. And this is only the beginning....
For most people, music is a hobby. For Phelt, it is not only a way of life...it is life.

New Original Sound
author: Rick
The material on this CD is extremely refreshing. Everything now on the radio is either angry or simple pop. This stuff is not comparable to anything else I've heard. My friends ask "who do they sound like". They really don't sound like anyone. Its a very original sound. A new extension to the rock vain. I can't say enough about this album. Guys if you see this....Great job. Thanks for a great CD!
