Phenotract's Eric Shans has always been inspired by 80s new wave music, so what better way to show the appreciation of it then doing his own version of the great Cars song "Drive". This version injects Phenotract's trademark woozy atmospheric sounds and vocals while swirling synths, modern percussion, and wafting vox permeate the mix. It stays true to the original's feelings of melancholy, and it appropriately fits into Phenotract's repertoire of music.
