I adore Brazil…the people, the vibe, the food, and especially the music. I try to visit frequently. On this recording, I had the opportunity to play with some of Brazil’s finest samba/jazz musicians. We play a variety of Brazilian standards (my choice), American standards (their choice) and a few of my own compositions. But for me it is pure joy to play any music with the rhythmic feel that Erivelton and Andre create. And the sound of Moise’s trumpet is all color and heat. I hope you enjoy the music as much as we enjoyed making it.
